Our Infant Care
Quality infant care is so important because it is a critical time in a child’s development. Working with parents in developing an appropriate daily routine gives your baby a sense of consistency and security, while remaining flexible and responsive to their individual needs. This is why we will only have two infants at one time.
Did you know your child's bonding is crucial to the formation and foundation of emotional psychological closeness? This is easily achieved here as the baby is able to bond to one provider as opposed to multiple providers.
Classical music is played during nap time. Studies have shown that classical music, particularly Mozart, unlocks the creative spirit and strengths the mind.
Along with nurturing your child, extra time is taken to read to your baby in order to support their language and development. We continuously evaluate each child’s progress and incorporate activities that enhance their cognitive skills while encouraging fun and laughter.

- What Makes Us Different? Small Sprout Preparatory Home Child Care provides much more than child care services. Our mission is to facilitate and enrich the childcare experience for our families. We strive for excellence in education and confidence in our children, as we have pleased families for over 25 years. Likewise, where possible, we seek to provide the best in early childhood development with our proven educational programs such as Warm World for Toddlers, Bo’s World Preschool Curriculum (Years 1 and 2) and Handwriting Without Tears. Children receive personal attention with fun hands-on projects and critical thinking methods which, as a result, have surpassed other educational methods including Montessori. Our children work at their own skill level but are challenged positively so that they can advance in their education. We want to ease the burden of our working parents. We achieve this by setting achievable goals for the children, building self-esteem, teaching values and manners and by laughing, playing and working together on fun creative projects. We strive to create an experience that will integrate well with each family and bring them the ultimate care-giving experience.
In addition to these services, we offer nutritious meals. Weather permitting we go outside for nature walks and outdoor playsing, We have music day with instruments, and read stories during circle time. Kids have fun while learning.
